Opinions- '87 Chevy Fleetside Longbox --> Stepside
Well I have a really nice looking '87 Chevy Pickup Fleetside Longbox.
I'm thinking I want a Stepside. Looking at the 'LMC' Catalog I see there are no sides or steps for the longbox version. There appears to be bolt kits for the long box. Myself I've never seen a longbox sidestep but I think '87 Stepper, who is on this board, has one. At least by the pics on his website it looks like it to me. Any opinions on how tough a job this will be. I'm thinking maybe get a couple of sides and add some metal to extend them or maybe get 3 sides. Looks like the fenders, etc. are the same. Have to do a similar thing on extending the step to make it wider I guess. Dave |

Check out http://www.mar-k.com They might have some long stepper parts. Check outhttp://www.geocities.com/strictlystepsides/ there may be some pic's of some long steppers on there. Hope that helps ya. Oh yeah To the board. |
