Need some advice..what to apply on metal cab floor..
Just got my truck from the shop (Im so HAPPY!!!) The carpet was removed and I just have metal on the floor. What do you recommend I do before I install a carpet? Should I apply some roll on bedliner or some dynamats?? What do you guys recommend??

Here is what I did on my truck.
If your floor has rust on it, I would wire brush/wheel it down and paint the floor with something such as POR-15 first, then put down some form of sound deadening/insulation...then the carpet.

The POR 15 is great stuff. But you do not want to use POR 15 on any place that will be exposed to the sun. Then sound deadner and last the carpet. The POR will go right over rust if your floor has any.

cab floor
Personally when I do cab floors, after a good clean up coarse sandpaper or wire brush on drill. I coat them twice with rustoleum, I use a brush and really gob it on. Seems to protect, seal and deaden sound & heat.

Try this substance http://www.coollizard.com/. This is the stuff that they coated the floor of the "Copperhead" truck on Trucks TV when they built it. I am working on a 68 Chevy and this i in the plan for sealing and heat treatment.
