to be honest, the more you pay the easier the install. Custom fit, Ron franis , bucks or one that you have to cut to fit. Either way a major job but be organized and it will go ok.

Re: Taskforce series - wiring harness
I agree with resin addict. I bought the same kit although I have yet to install it. It's a complete kit from bumber to bumper and I do mean complete! It also has all of the newer type fuse block that makes it easy to up grade to AC power window and on. Here is a link on e-bay that is up for auction. Check out the info on the kit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...QQcmdZViewItem Good luck!

Re: Taskforce series - wiring harness
I bought a Painless harness for my '56.
I havent installed it yet but did do some layout with it. Its a nice easy to work with system with quality wires. Although I will skip the crimp connectors and solder every thing together and use heat shrink on the connections. The "Ron Francis" system is good also but the harness is not "GM" color coded. All Wires are labled as is the "painless" system. I bought mine from Summit Racing. I shopped around for the best price and called Summit and told them I would rather do business with them (I've spent alot with Summit). They matched the price and shipped it for free. I hope this is helpfull Denny |
