Longhorn Friday Cruise
Well I finally got the courage to take the Longhorn to the parts store. I have been working on driveability issues and I think I finally got them all sorted out. Well...with the exception of the horn, radio, tach and a couple of dash lights. It is a nice warm fall day with sun so I had to check out the fatty tires...they ride very nice...LOL!

Re: Longhorn Friday Cruise
awsome feeling huh?
Horn, lights, radio, tach...all those just distract you from the warm fuzzy of driving your rig. |

Re: Longhorn Friday Cruise
Second trip this afternoon was to pick up some money orders for more parts. It is so nice to have a running, driving truck! It makes me want to get some paint and start detailing it...LOL!

Re: Longhorn Friday Cruise
Thanks guys now that it is running I am going to leave it as is until I finish the prime job on the ratrod...it is he!! having so many projects going at once. The Longhorn will be the parts chaser for the next couple of months while I get the stepside back on the road. Did a ton of sanding and squirted some epoxy primer on it today. This one has to be one color and on the road for the big Thanksgiving dinner at my place. Last year it looked like this...I must show some progress or be the brunt of many jokes...LOL!

Re: Longhorn Friday Cruise
It already looks like you have done a lot of progress since last year. My truck came from my cousin so I'm hoping he comes home for Thanksgiving so I can let him take it for a spin since it hadn't run in years before I got it last year.
