Re: need help with suspesion swap

Not sure when you say the castlated nut goes up so far that the cotter pin will not go thru..... I have not had this problem with the upper ball joint that fits the spindle. I have had to drill a new cotter pin hole occasionally in the lower. Drill another cotter pin hole? It is close to a 1/8 hole or next size down --3/32.

Re: need help with suspesion swap

You can do one of two things.
Get a taller castle nut or get a grade 8 washer, they come in thick a normal thickness. Don't put 2 washers in there just one and don't use a standard grade washer. If the cotter pin then does not lock the nut you have to find out what parts is wrong or defective.

Re: need help with suspesion swap

I use a decent 1/2 inch flat washer.
