K10 front axle block??

Anybody got one of these front axle spacer blocks (drivers side). Pictured is a 83 K10 I found on E-bay. Our K10 appears to need this. Greg

Re: K10 front axle block??

I would think twice before putting any blocks in the front axle. That is very unsafe.

I second that. That is why you don't see lift kits with front blocks only springs.

Re: K10 front axle block??

if it is a zero rate that many fab shops are making now it is perfectly safe. It simply bolts into the leaf pack and provides the lift of an additional spring without effecting the spring rate

Re: K10 front axle block??

What do you mean by negative rate? This truck has 4" lift Rough country springs on the front and blocks on the rear. The problem is the truck is unlevel on the front. Nothing appears bent or missing. After alot of measuring, there is 1/2" difference between the springs (measuring to the ground) and another 1/2" at the frame. A 1" spacer on the driver side between the axle & spring would put it back level. Greg
