Interior Adhesive?????

I'm intalling new fabric on my headliner shell, what adhesive have you used? I cannot seem to find a 3m product made specifically for fabric.

Re: Interior Adhesive?????

IIRC, it is the #77 adhesive. It is a white can with green lettering and a red 3M label.

Re: Interior Adhesive?????

I use 3M Hi-Tack 76 in the green can.
The 77 and Super 77 are good products but the Hi-Tack 76 is one step better. It's harder to find and more expensive but you get what you pay for.

Re: Interior Adhesive?????

Most automotive paint stores sell the 77 and Super 77.

The 3M Hi-Tack 76 is very hard to find in my area so I order it from a little shop in Georgia. You can buy one can or 10 cases.

Re: Interior Adhesive?????

I've used the 3M "Super Trim Adhesive" and found it better than the #77. I've used it on headliner as well as cloth and vinyl interior trim. Good Stuff!
