Sacramento newbie with 71 4x4
1st post. Great forum here, I don't know why it took me so long to find you..
I have a 71 Chev 4x4 that I've about 7 years. Pretty bare bones, but runs good (on what appears to be original bottom end no less). Looks okay from 30 feet or so, hadh new paint when I bought it. Was my wifes daily driver for several years but now is just a weekend cruiser and occasional camp rig. Now doing some interior work, sun has beat up the carpet and covers pretty bad (carpet turned pink... ouch!). Sorry for the bad photos. |

Welcome to the board! Nice looking truck.
Consider the rubber floor mats if the carpet is fading. Easy to clean but they do get hot in the sun.

Here is picture again. Seats and gas tank are out right now so I can't get her outside for proper photo. Garage is too small. That is a chevy truck rally spare just happens to be propped up there. I am looking for a factory spare mount (like everyone else)! -John |
