Talking Air Ride Technologies

Well I am planning on running THIS set-up for the front, but I was undeceided
on what exactly I was going to do for the rear, but that all came to light late
Saturday afternoon while I was talking to the guys at the ART tent while at
the SCS in Memphis, they are just finishing up the prototype for a rear suspn
kit for coil spring Trucks, Blazers, and Burbs. It comes with Air bags, Panard
bar relocation mounts (Adjustable Bar), shock relocation plates, the TRAILING
ARMS, ooooops I forgot the shocks themselves and a C-notch all in 1 kit

Re: Air Ride Technologies

Sounds like a nice kit. I used their StrongArms on the front of my 69 suburban and have been happy with the install.

Re: Air Ride Technologies

If it's anything like the StrongArms, look for this kit to be on market about 1.6 years after they promise it.

Re: Air Ride Technologies

I called them as soon as I read this thread, and they said Summer of '06, and they were quite sure on the pricing yet. I'll be definitely looking forward to this setup!

Hmmm, well the front set-up linked is around $999 (But the guy at the SCS
said if you place a order at their booth during the show u save around 20%)

So if I had to guess, being that it comes w/ Trailing arms and all, I say it will
probably be in the neighborhood of $1999, but I hope it's much cheaper

They have 04/05/06 as their last update on the homepage and it
does not mention the kit, but they did say June, and this is May.

Well it wasn't to far off from what I said price wise, w/ 20% off if you
order it at a show, that puts it well under $2K for the rear, not bad

Depends on how you look at it, it includes TUBULAR UPPER and LOWER
control arms for the front, and TUBULAR TRAILING ARMS for the rear, I
personally do not think that is that bad, but to each his own as always

Sorry if my post sounded offensive ... wasn't meant that way.

ART has nice stuff, but their prices are RIDICULOUS. Give the tubular arms and trailing arms about 6 months on the market and you will able to purchase them from someone else for less than half that.

It can, it's around $800, get ya a calculater and start adding
if you come in under $2000 for everything I will be shocked

*$2600 is the price of the ART kit if you order it at a show, it
is not that bad for getting it all at one place, YES you can get
it a lil cheaper if you piece it out from vendors like suicide and
others out there, but to me one stop shopping is alot easier.
