brake lights and turn signals
My turn signals work fine until you hit the brakes and then they stop. The light on the dash even glows but won't blink. That kind of stinks when you consider most of the time when you're turning you hit the brakes. Any ideas on where my problem could be? They all work fine by themselves, but can't seem to get along. thanks in advance for any info.....

Re: brake lights and turn signals
First thing I'd do is replace all four turn signal bulbs (external...front and rear) with brand new 1157 bulbs.
Then inspect wires... like where the harness had been hacked up for a trailer. Your grounds should be fine.... don't bother going there. swap the 2 flashers one for the other.... Do your 4 ways work? I seem toremember a truck doing this when the 4 way flasher switch was pushed in and broken off... and the flasher was removed. |

Re: brake lights and turn signals
Turn signal switch problems cause all kinds of weird issues. Been there, done that.
