Front End Rebuild

I will be converting the front Drum setup on my '70 to a disc setup using '71 spindles and want to know if I can reuse my controls arms? If I understand correctly the balljoints and tie rod ends are different on the '71 but everything else remains the same...is that the case?

Re: Front End Rebuild

You can reuse the control arms, just change the ball joints and tie rod ends to 71/72. You will also have to replace the center draglink with one from a 71/72. Did your 70 come with power brakes? I would change the master cylnder and proportioning valve also.
