Re: Still alot of these old trucks around...
Seeing all those swb trucks in the pics is great. Looks like Texas is a good place for truck hunting.

Re: Still alot of these old trucks around...
Theres only five 67-72's in my town. A 68 C-10 8ft step (small window), 69 C-10 SWB Fleet, 72 Chevy C-10 LWB, 69-70 GMC K20, and my truck. If you know the right people and look the right places, theres a lot of these trucks left around. When I was little, there used to be a 68 K-20 plow truck down the road from my house. Sure wish I knew where it went.

Re: Still alot of these old trucks around...
Well it's got the reflectors on the front fenders, and a small rear window. The truck is a POS anyway, it may be made out of 2 or 3 different trucks for all I know. It's got a 305 V8 with a 3spd? on the floor.

My money is on you being crazy. I'll bet a kick in the daddy parts that no one here will ever show an original unmolested truck that's a 68 with a small window, and being a C/30 or smaller...or a K/20 or smaller. If I had just a little more balls... I'd bet my longhorn title. Quote:

Re: Still alot of these old trucks around...
There was a guy at a local show a few years back with a small window "68". Said it was that way when he pulled it out of the field. I didn't have the heart to tell him that didn't necessarily mean anything.

Re: Still alot of these old trucks around...
I have been building these old trucks since 1979 and have bought alot of them and have never even heard of a small window 68 just 67s I have one 67right now with a factory air, that is also hard to find on a 67.I like the big window look anyway.I will be watching just in case. But will have to see it to believe it.
