recently released 73-87 die cast
A member on Chris' message board posted some information on a 73-87 die cast he found...so with me being a collector of stuff for these trucks, I went out to look for one of my own.
I ended up finding this at my local Target, but it took a trip to a few different stores to actually turn one up. There are some on Ebay, but I couldn't wait. There are at least two different paint schemes in case you are wondering. The hood and box cover apear to open too.

Nice find Jeff. I wonder if you can get them online at Target? Also how much was it?

Re: recently released 73-87 die cast
Now's who gonna be the first to mod it.
Mattel Hot Wheels, Monogram and/or AMT need to commission Hill's Hot Rod to use one of his 73-87 builds as a model. BTW, here's what the other paint scheme looks like:

Re: recently released 73-87 die cast
I picked one up yesterday and its just like that gold one but it's white with gray flames.
I went to the web site and e-mailed them about doing a stepside so maybe if we bombard them the'll do one. I wanted to see if they had a stepside and they dont even show the fleetside version. http://www.maisto.com/gridez_home.asp |

Did anyone notice that the suspension is that of a 4x4? LOL they look like a 2x4 lowered truck if ya ask me. http://www.maisto.com/gridez_home.asp |
