electric windows
Anyone install any of the aftermarket kits for power windows? Any good? This would be on a daily driver window up and down at least once a day. Or would money be better spent fixing my manual regulators?

If you are putting them in the 68, then one of the kits from Electric-Life are perfect for our trucks. Direct bolt in replacement for our window regulators. Motors are guaranteed for life, and after 5 years in the '71, no issues whatsoever with them. I don't know if any of the board vendors carry them, someone chime in if you know. Jeff.

Yep, they are real smooth, wiring is fairly easy and it comes with the diagram when you buy the switches and wiring. They are sold separately from the regulators by the way. Any vendors stocking these? Wes?

don't ever buy a universal kit I threw mine away after a 8 hour attempt the direct fit ones are great!!

Will the kit sold here http://www.a1electric.com/Merchant2/...ct_Code=GM49-K sold by A1electric work with the one-piece window kits?
I noticed the Early Classic sells 2-different window kits; one for the one-piece and one for the stock-style window... Any ideas? Thanks
