Bags?

Just want to know if I have to run different shocks on the front of my 71 c10 if I run bags and 2 inch drop spindles, and on the back I'll just need relocation brackets but same shocks, right? If any one has a pic of rear relocation brackets, would much appreciate Thanks.

Re: Bags?

depends on the size of the shocks when fully compressed the way they are now. If they can compress enough to fit when the suspension is totally lowered, then their fine, otherwise they should be replaced...
The rear shocks will need to have a new upper mount once you notch the suspension so that the suspension can fully compress w/o maxing out the shock before the suspension is maxed out.

Re: Bags?

Correct, up front you're gonna need new shocks for a lowered application. I'm running Doetsch Tech shocks that I bought from CPP. I just chose the one for 4" lowered application. They have plenty of travel and do not bottom out at full dump. They do limit travel at full inflation a little, but if you see my build thread on this forum you'll see I still get a lot of lift. Out back I'm running ECE's relocator kit which worked fine.
