keyed 12v power source?
I have several things that require a keyed on 12v power source. So right now that means I have 3 wires going to the intrument fuse in the fuse block. I dont think this is a good idea, but I dont know electrical very well. Is it ok having all these wires going to one spot or is there another place on the fuse block I can attach a wires too thats keyed 12v? Thanks

Tom,
if you have three things tied to the instrument panel fuse, yes you are overloading this circuit. But if it's not blowing any fuses, it should be ok. Why not move these wires to one of the ign spaces on the fuse block and then use an inline fuse holder in the wire.

sounds like a plan. Now I have to find a ignition spot, since most of the lettering is worn off

If I remember correctly, there are two ignition sources at the bottom left side of the fuse box. They are single type connection. All you need is a spade male connection. I use one for my amp.

Yes they are unfused. I also need to correct my statement. The power source is for my digital tach not my speaker amp.
