High Performance Inline6 Exhaust?
Yea, i was lookin around for a high performance exhaust system for my 66 c10. The problem is that is got the 250 Inline 6 and the only high performance exhaust kits i found were for v8's. Anybody know where i can get a complete kit? I have looked at the headers and mufflers in the LMC catalogue and thought about a custom exhaust, but was just wonderin if anyone knew where else i could get a complete kit. Thanks..

Re: High Performance Inline6 Exhaust?
Yea, just the exhaust. I know the headers that i want, i just wanna know if anybody knows where i could get a high performance exhaust for after the headers, or if that woun't work, just a high performance exhaust that will relace the original, but use the same exhaust manifold. Either one would certainly help me out. Thanks......

Re: High Performance Inline6 Exhaust?
Your best bet is to take it to a a muffler shop and have the make one for you. Around here you can get one bent up for about $200.00-300.00.
I have an older dual exhaust and will be going that route myself. I plan on putting some glass packs or maybe just straight pipes |

Re: High Performance Inline6 Exhaust?
I have a set of stainless pipes with corvette mufflers that have the old time hot rod six raspy sound. They were recommended by a guy with a 40's coupe that goes by the nickname RapRap(wonder why). I didn't use these very long, less than 500 miles before I decided to swap the 230 out that I was running and rebuild and put the original 250 back in and go close to stock.
If you have a way to get them from southern Indiana, you can have them. I just took them off today and my wife ha already asked about how long they might lay there!! Last edited by ol Curt; 12-23-2006 at 10:55 PM. |

Re: High Performance Inline6 Exhaust?
I don't remember but I think they were about $500.. I think the total was $600 with the carb. That is a Holley 390... I could be wrong. They were bought at Clifford performance before the passed and the company went to making products in China...

Re: High Performance Inline6 Exhaust?
Try Summit Racing. They had the best prices and carried 3 different brands to choose from last year for inline 6. Also had a coupon for free shipping when I ordered mine last spring.
