Re: clutch..
Are ther any obstructions hitting the clutch fork ? What shape is the clutch pedal returnspring in? Was your throughout bearing making any noise? I'm sure when you replace the clutch kit you will find what the problem is. Good luck.

Re: clutch..
uhh the clutch return spring is excellent and the throwout bearing isnt making any noise at all. i looked under the dash and it looks like it might be binding on somehting under there but i cant get it to budge either way so it wont bind...

Re: clutch..
Try some spray lube or penetrating oil on the pivot point of the pedal bracket and keep working it. That might loosen something up.

Re: clutch..
Probably something in your throwout bearing, fork, or pressure plate. Make sure you replace everything and have your flywheel surfaced.

Re: clutch..
Couple things,79under, Is the linkage adjusted? Is there any odd noises from the clutch area?
Also, I have done the clutch thing in my 80 K10. 2 Years ago. Went well, except for the last half inch of install. Use the search on this site for SM465 and you'll see quite a few R&R threads and advice on that aforementioned 1/2 inch. Good luck & contact me if you need help. No expert, but been there blah blah.... - Dave

Re: clutch..
Your clutch disc may have come apart and is bound up in the diaphram of the pressure plate. Take the inspection cover off the bellhousing and see if anything falls out or you can see what is going on in there with a flashlight. Just a thought.
