Chevy engine suffix identification problem

Hi, I'm new to this, actually my first post. I have a 350 cu. in. motor with the following info "Vo330 TDS". I don't have any problems with the first VO330 but I cannot get info on the suffix TDS. Can anyone help me out?
Regards and greeting from Newfoundland, Canada......:

Re: Chevy engine suffix identification problem

Letsee...yes, you climb into the trucks underhood (look out, the bumper is slippery), turn upsidedown, support your weight on the carb (marks on your arm will go away eventually), hold a can of carb cleaner in the other hand, a wire brush in the third hand, stablize yourself with your head pressed against the hood, and write down the numbers with your fourth hand...you are what? on the passenger side!!?? Well then ...oh, and bring a flashlight.

Re: Chevy engine suffix identification problem

To make is easy to get the numbers. First clean the area off, then get some modeling clay and press it on the area wait a couple of minutes and remove it very carefull. Put it in front of a mirrow and you can see all the numbers that way.
