Re: I need some advice...

optiona are:
MII from various vendors all just about the same in installation. I don't know who is doing boltins for that frame. this is the hardest of the three

RBSobsolete has avery nice slide in and weld unit that uses impala parts. this is already setup for bumper and radiator brackets and engine mounts.

64 chevy impala clip. Its supposed to slide in the frame rails and weld up. has motor mount in place but no bumper or radiator bracketc.

Re: I need some advice...

dwcsr,

Thanks for the input. I'm actually looking to do some sort of IFS on my 55 Pickup. I looked at the RBS kit on rbsauto.com and noticed they make a good looking kit for the 1st series 55 here: IFS KIT that includes disc brakes as well. Do you know of any kits like this one made for 2nd generation 55's?

The slide in kit for the 55-59's looks like it's just the frame mod then you'll have to get all the remainder parts seperate. Which is fine of course, but it would be cool if they had a complete package like the link above.

Thanks again,

Re: I need some advice...

I just bought a Crossmember from Industrial Chassis. It is stronger and heavier duty than a Mll he has it all or just crossmember
