Brake light lit
I recently swapped out the drums to disk in the front end and after changing the complete spindles, proportioning valve, MC and booster, the brake light in the dash stays lit. I have bleed the brakes 3 times, the pads are brand new and the MC is also new. What the heck gives ???

Re: Brake light lit
It sounds to me like you need to reset or hook up the switch in your prop valve

Re: Brake light lit
It has the wire connected to it. How do you reset.

Re: Brake light lit
I may be wrong, but it sounds as if your master cylinder is off center. To center it, have someone pump the brakes and watch the light, bleed it slowly at the line on the master cylinder, when the light goes out tighten the line. Hope this works for you. Greg
