The Zing

So summit sent me the wrong spindles for my truck so I have to sent them back. This is my spring break and I was wanting to do the Z... Do you think I would be fine just measuring for a 4 inch Z and go ahead and cut it or doyou think I should wait till I have the spindles and the wheels bolted on? I want ro run between a 27 and 29 inch tire. and the drop spindles are 3". It has the suicide doors plates on top and cups on the bottom. Any info will help thanks
