Whats this called?

On the front end, there is a metal "strip" that goes across in front of the fenders. Its usually behind the bumper and right below the grill. What is this thing called? My 79 has a banged up front end, and that piece along with the fenders need replacin.

I don't know, I've never seen it before. But that definitely doesn't mean it hasn't been there before.

It's called the front valence panel. I have 2 and one you could buy, but I don't know how it would get there if I shipped it.

lower grill panel

lmc calls it lower grille panel and they sell them new at around 30.00 bucks hope this helps you out

Ill be replacing the panel along with the fenders, so it wont be for another month or two. What is this quick reply thing?
