Re: Rookie
Wow, it's great to make a bunch of friends with the same interest all over the world. I have a 68 c-10 that me and my dad worked on and still under construction, due to kids, wife, and well, you guys know the story. It's got a 305 350 combo, better than the straight 6 it came with along with 3 on the tree, not that I'm knocking on those 6 bangers, I still have it as a matter of fact, sitting in dads back yard along with the 3 speed. I plan on working on it more this summer, if possible, 'cause my boys are now grown and have projects of their own also, a 54 caddie and a 79 c-1500, and like any ol' dad I seem to have more time for their projects than my own, know what I mean? I don't know how my wife can stand this, seems like we have more time for our projects than with her!!, But that is why I love her, she understands, keeps the boys off the streets!! Hey saramentojoe, I'm in Visalia, CA. Well I can keep going on 4ever, but I guess I have to cut it short, don't want to bore anyone.
