Seatbelt safety
My son's days of driving are getting closer as well as the progress on the money pit.
One question I have as I prepare to let him drive off into the sunset is seatbelt safety. What options are out there to retrofit our trucks with a shoulder harness? We have a 68 C10. |

Re: Seatbelt safety
The trucks are equipped to have a shoulder belt, or you can get an after market set that will allow you to have the one pieces seat belt/shoulder harness. There are ways you can incorporate them from a late model C1500 or S10.
If it was my kid, and being it is hard to find decent belts in the yards used today (if at all), I would get one of the sets off e-bay or one from the street rod guys and set up the truck with them.

Re: Seatbelt safety
I got mine from www.buckle-up.net. They bolted right in and had the color I was looking for. I think it took me less than an hour to install.
