Just wanted to introduce myself. I was just given a 64' by my grandfather. The truck was given to him by his father. There is quite a bit of work to be done. It has had a 327 put in it in the sixty's and around 8 years or so ago the tranny was swapped out for a sycronized one and the shifter was moved to the floor (second gear shattered, wasn't me ). Any input is welcome as well as suggestions on someone for sheet metal work in east TN. This will be a keeper so all the work will not be done at once. I would like to replace the rockers, body mount towers and floor boards first.

Re: New Member
Welcome from NM. I too have a truck that has been in the family since the 70's. I will make sure it will stay in the family, too. Can't wait to see your truck come together... I like it!!

A hearty welcome from America's heartland of Kansas City! I love the '64-'66 Chevy trucks, myself, so much so I have 12 of them myself. Good luck with your project.
