U-Bolt sizing for flip kit install
I got my flip kit today in the mail on Saturday and I do not have the stock u-bolts, nor did the kit come with them. Can I just order a stock set from one of the catalogs or do the bolts have to be longer due to the flip kit? If you could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I'll post some pics once things get moving along.

Re: U-Bolt sizing for flip kit install
My local Auto parts stores sell universal U-bolts and that is how I did mine. They can be cut to length.

Re: U-Bolt sizing for flip kit install
I dont know about the smaller axles but on my one ton 14 bolt FF. Well those axle housings where made in 3 different diameters over the years. Example I think they came in 3 &1/8, 3&1/4" and 3&3/8".
Im thinking you better measure your housing with dial calipers before you order custom u bolts. Ever large town has an outfit somewhere that makes u bolts. |

I think I'd check a truck parts place like brother's or lmc or maybe some of the guys here with used stuff and buy some from around the same year truck, same rearend size, like 12 bolt or 14 bolt etc., and same amount of leaf springs.
