New member from Iowa
Hey everyone. I am from Mason City, Iowa and getting a 1967 3/4 ton GMC. My plans are to restore it and make it as loud as hell! There is very little to restoring this truck caz its been taken care of for the most part. He put in a 350 engine in this truck a year or so ago and with the price he is askin, i don't wanna turn this down at all. I need ALL the help to what I should do with this 3/4 ton. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know and you can email me at ccredneck@hotmail.com with the suggestions. I also have msn messenger {same address} Thank You.

Re: New member from Iowa
Thanks for the welcomes... Do you know what would be better to get body panels from... a store that is brand new or a junk yard? Should i look at both places to see what i can find or what?

Re: New member from Iowa
Velkommen Chris......you ready to start workin on that truck?? Like i said last night, i would stick to either year 1 parts or LMC truck, junk yard parts will be rusty and dented as well, if not worse

Re: New member from Iowa
well, i can have the exhaust hacked off by sunday night and probably start circling trouble areas on the body to work out first, we will also need to start making a need, want and wish list of al the stuff for the truck
also chris, start looking around in the 1973-1987 sub forums here and you will start getting VERY informed and detailed stuff about your generation of truck!

Re: New member from Iowa
oh Cool alright. Ya lets hack off the exhust sunday night, sweet. Ya you know what to look for, for the things what would need to be worked out first. We will need to sit down with the truck in front of us and look it over and talk it over, right? Like i have said before, I have no clue what I am doing, so I am asking alot from you... sorry.

Re: New member from Iowa
well guys, chris wants his truck, as far as i know, to be lifted up and all "cowboy'd out" and to be in the same conditon as mine.....which is this condition...
HOWEVER...his truck will be starting out in a LOT worse shape than mine was which means we will more than likely be doing ALL new body panels and ALL new everything....

Re: New member from Iowa
Thanks with all the welcomes... Does anyone have any Idea what I should do with this 1987 3/4 ton Chevy? Like what should I look at first, what I should do first or anything with that?
