I think I may have found a new truck already, lol

Its a 1980 K10 shortbox, lifted 4" on 33s, 350 on propane, SM465/NP205 combo, 10 bolts front and rear. Appears to be a SierraClassic, and has buckets inside, not sure about other options, though I kept most everything worth a dime from my old truck...

Body looks really nice for these parts, so I may wind up picking it up, swapping my 3/4 ton diffs / interior over, put my clearance lights on, and painting it blue and white like my old 80 was. Don't really need a long-box anyways :P

They are asking 2500, which is actually a really good deal for a shortbox 4x4 around here...

There was a 77 short bed with 3/4 ton diffs that didnt look any better than that truck that sold last month in Claresholm AB for $6700.
$2500 sounds like a great deal.
Look im in Alberta and I look for these old 4 wheel drives all the time. Your not going to get a better deal than that even if that truck needs work.

Yeah, I know, I've been looking around for a 3/4 ton 4x4 too, they definitely are not cheap.

I know of a 910 dollar 85 3/4 ton 4x4 with a 350 (my old one actually), an SM465/208 combo, and 4.10 diffs. Only problem is that it doesn't run, and the body is pretty much shot. It also has buckets, and an all new electrical system that I wired up less than half a year ago. I think I'd rather just buy one thats in good shape, do a very quick paint job, and call it done for now.

I have about $20,000 in my 81 one ton and I havnt done the body yet. The body is next to finish it but im guessing its going to cost $5000 plus to do it.
Body parts are really the only things im looking for.
But yes I agree if you can get a truck thats already built your way better off.
Like if the body is good on that 80 then that alone makes it worth what he is asking.
