Question ventwindowseal-Gchemist

As I remember correctly you replaced the vent window seals a while ago??
I'm working on this now,and have a question:
The old seal was a 2 piece seal and had metal clips on the rear seal to attach it to the frame. The new one(oem) is a 1 piece seal without metal clips.
Am I supposed to glue the rear part to the frame??

I need to fix my seals too.

Yes J-Spec the truck should not have any whistling sound if everything is good.

TIP:
When ever having a window replaced by a perfessional. Always test his work. Take your truck for a ride with all the windows down, then with all the windows up. That way you can figure out if youll have any problems.

I had a wing window replaced and ever sense it has whistled. If you crack one of your larger windows it will stop the whistling. But now you have a window open. I guess you have to choose whats worse.
