Suburban/Blazer gas tank bolt-in to LB? (searched archives)

I was at the pick-part yard looking for a good rear bumper and hitch for my 3/4 LB. I now see that the Suburban frame drops at the tail, for some reason. I know, I'm just learning.
I then noticed the big center mounted tanks in the Suburbans and Blazers.
Will this bolt into my PU? I searched archives, and didn't find any solid answers, maybe I used the wrong keywords.
I actually saw a 73-87 PU go up in flames after being hit in the side. I'm not really worried about it, but if I can easily bolt in the Suburban tank, I'll do it.
thanks!

It can be done, fabbing the gas fill hole is the hardest part, IMO. There is a FAQ on that, I'll see if I can find it.

I'm pretty sure there are a few members here who have done this. Hopefully they will chime in.

I have a Suburban tank installed on my 3/4 ton 4x4, as mentioned by shadetree, the filler-neck has proven to be a big challenge... My fuel lines are hooked up, and the truck runs off the fuel in the tank, but I currently have no way of filling the tank back up =/
