couple of changes this weekend
The Blazer I am EXTREMELY disappointed with but the truck turned out great. First I added a 4" lift and 315-75-16 tires to my K20, I had the rims laying around from my '01 and I got the new/used tires for $125 and sold the wheels/tires I had on the truck for $150, so with the purchase of the truck, new rear shocks, lift, tires, etc.. I've only got $600 into this thing Here is a couple before and afters.

Re: couple of changes this weekend
Here is what I am not happy about. I took my Blazer to a friends dad who I've seen do really really great work to get some body work and shoot some color a few weeks ago. I really couldnt decide how to break the two tone lines so I decided to go flat black and use the extra money to paint my k20. Well I get it back and it looks absolutly horrible, it's got a ton of overspray, runs, parts that didnt get painted, etc... I'm so F-n pissed off. I dont know how many times I have to learn the lesson of not dealing with friends but I'm pretty sure this is it. Looks like my next few weekends will be spent sanding, spraying etc... He did do a good job with most of the body work, he removed 90% of the trim (didnt take if off the tailgate) shaved the handles, and filled in the cab seams. sorry for the long post
Anyway, heres what came back

Re: couple of changes this weekend
Adam your 600.00 beater looks better than some daily drivers around here. Your gonna make a killin when you turn that one.
The Blazer "looks" good in the pics, too bad about the poor quality of the paint work. Just consider that as a "guide coat" and start sanding...

Awesome! That beater has the same lift / tire / wheel combo I'm busy workin on for my truck! Talk about some serious motivation seeing how awesome that ol' girl's stance is!
