Vintage air pricing??
Does anyone know off hand what the kit costs for our trucks? I would love to put it in my truck and I got a new job where I'm making some good money so I thought, what the hell? I'm also tired of everyone around me bragging about their ac cabs, even if it doesn't work.

Re: Vintage air pricing??
there are several different kinds...give them a call and they will quote you a price. vintageair.com I went with a generation iv with some upgrades and it was around 1300$ with no compressor but most people don't go that route. they have "surefit" that cost less.

Re: Vintage air pricing??
Well it looks to be a great product but it's not installed yet. They have a good reputation and i researced the specific unit before i bought it...so i think i'll be happy.

Re: Vintage air pricing??
If they have the Gen IV out for the 67-72 trucks, get it, not the sure fit. The sure fit is about 1 step of what the factory stuff would have been. The Gen IV uses all the technology that modern day A/C systems used and you will be much happier with it it the long run. Everything is solid state controlled, no cables to hook up or run, very nice system.
