parts from a 72 doner truck?

Looking at a 72 model chevy truck, can I use steering column off of it?

Well... You can use the steering column, steering box (if power steering), front control arm, spindles and disc brake set up, rearend so you can have all 5 lug wheels, power brake booster and master cylnder. So you see you can use alot of things from it.
