Want to go lower..

Suspension experts, need help.

I have stock suspension w/ 2 1/2" drop spindles and air-ride technology coolride system and small c-notch. My wheels are hitting inner fender wheels (front & back). How do I modify fender wheels? I know some of you are using trailer fenders for front. Does anybody know what size? What do I do for the back besides raise or cut bed?

Thanks in advance,

Danny.

Re: Want to go lower..

11" wide trailer fenders will work if you can find 'em. Most of them are 9" wide though, so you'll have to section two together to get the tire covered. Out back, you can do what N2Billet did with Lucy to gain a few more inches...

I believe Danny has 20's front and rear. He just changed over from 18 front and 20 rear recently
Do a search under his name...you will see alot of info on his nice truck!

Re: Want to go lower..

I bought two 355480 9" 32" 15.25" 1",90° BACK 16GA. for the Tahoe conversion and only ended up using part of one for the 3rd door notch. Now I'm modding my front inners similar to what N2 did to the rear of his. The idea is to make more room but still have stock looking inners from under the hood. I'll post a thread about it soon.

For the rear it's a little different for the Burbs than for the trucks. I don't have that inner panel on the bed that the trucks have, just a full wheel housing/tub that I plan to replace with these: 355700 13" 36" 20" 1",90° BACK 16GA.

BTW, I have not ordered from these guys yet. The first pair I bought from another company and have since lost the link...
