1961 apache emblem

Can anyone tell me what the original color of the emblem on the hood of a 1961 apache 20 is. thanks

The only color on the emblem was Chevrolet Red coloring in the bowtie. On V-8 models the only difference is the underlining spread V, which is chrome like the outline of the bowtie. Both are beautiful emblems and it's a pity Chevy discontinued them after 1961.

My last post concerned the front emblem. The "Apache 20" emblem is chrome underlined in red.
