Re: new pics of interior

the seat is bolted in the back but I am going to have to pull it back out and move the front mounts to make it fit. I unbolted the seat track from the original 86 seat and used that on the new 93 model seat.It is not going to be that hard. But I am going to have to cut and re-weld the mounts in the front.

Re: new pics of interior

Looks great. If you don't mind, could you keep in mind to take some pics and kinda diagram up what you're going to do for the front mounts? I have a seat similar to this going in my 78 at some point.

Thanks in advance. The interior looks great.

Re: new pics of interior

thanks for the complements on the interior. Well on the cd player I ordered everything from cruchfeild.com. Great place to buy a car cd player & recoment them HIGHLY. They send the instal kit free when you order the head unit from them. That peice that blends so well on the cluster is from them and it is METAL not plastic witch I think is great. What I did was took the cluster off and then used the metal pice as a template and then used a dremel and cut the cluster. then I reinstaled the cluster and used a sharpie and traced the outline of the wider opening, then took it back off and cut the dash. Then I used the cage (I guess that is what you call it) that comes with the head unit and installed that to the meatl plate and dash cluster with the little tabs that are all over the cage. Then install the cluster to the dash itself. When you put the cluster back on take your time because of the cage sticking out from behind the cluster, but it will fit just take your time. If I have time this weekend I will take it back apart and take some pics for yall.I hope this helps.
