Idle speed

Is there a way to lower the idle speed when the choke is on.

Cause mine is running way to fast when the idle is on and tapping or even stomping on the gas pedal dosent turn the choke off, you have to wait for the engine to warm up

Re: Idle speed

What carb? Generally there always is adjustment on fast idle speed, tis a small screw on the passenger side of the carb that "rides" on the fast idle cam, electric choke usually hides it from direct view. That screw acts similar to the main idle speed one near the throttle bracket - tirning it in raises RPM, backing it out slows the engine down.
