Air bags with stock LCAs

Does anyone have a picture of their stock style LCAs with bags? I'm would like to see how much clearancing (if thats a word) will need to occur. I have Slam Specialty RE8s. I plan on using '73+ LCAs and UCAs. How short can I make the cup?

Re: Air bags with stock LCAs

I used RE7s in my 73-up LCAs w/1.5" cups and had to 'massage' near the shock mount for peace of mind. RE8s will likely require more hammer work or a taller cup.

I have RE7s too, but I was planning to run RE8s in the front and The RE7s in the rear.

Gringo- So nothing needed to be done to the arm? Just the shock mount on the arm? Do you have any pictures?

Re: Air bags with stock LCAs

By 'massaged' I mean beat the hell out of with a BFH. I did this to the outside lip of the spring pocket near the shock mount. It's the only part of the arm that rubbed on mine w/ 1.5" cups. I basically just knocked down the corner in that area and made it more of a rounded lip. If you need pics, let me know- I'm not at my computer now...

Why the RE8s? You running a big-block?

Re: Air bags with stock LCAs

Pics would be great. I have the RE8s because I got a great deal on them. Either place they are probably overkill, but I figured they would be better in the front. Do you think it would ride like sh!t if I put them in the back? If I did that, I don't think there would be any clearance issues.
