Standard gear ratio?

1984 Jimmy, 305 w/700r. What was the standard axle ratio in these?

RPO code on the sticker in glovebox should answer this, unless the axles have been re-geared or swapped. I can't remember where I saw this listings for the different codes.

Hey, thanks for the list! I've never heard of 3:21's and also noticed no 3:42's on there. I'm guessing I have 3:08's but not sure and not ready to pull the covers yet.

you dont have to pull the cover. simply raise both rear wheels off the ground turn them one full rotation and watch how many times the driveshaft turns. that is the ratio. if you mark the tire and driveshaft with white chalk it makes it easier.
