Re: she wanted in......so she got in

i'd go 73-78 myself, but i am a little biased with a stock 77, and an 80 with a stock 77 clip on it. both seem to have 80 grilles though.

Re: she wanted in......so she got in

final engine product came in the form of a 4 bolt main 400 ci block stroked to a 434 ci with a budget stroker kit. the crank and rods are scat. the pistons are speed pro and the block was precisely machined by yours truely( align bored, decked, bored, honed, and chamfered) here are the pics of the bottom end just about buttoned up. also a pic of the girlfriends ratstang daily driver(on dubs of course).

83-84 for sure

Keep up the progress!

I think that truck in grey with some of those same style mustang wheels with a dish would look nice, dubs or course.

Re: she wanted in......so she got in

my 79 has had both front ends. It had 73-78 when I got it, and I put the 79-80 back on and think it looks better, IMO. Nice project!

i would have painted the trans too, but i figure it's a driver and it gets the best of the road grime. so time painting that went into engine accessories.
