Head Light Mount Buckets
does any one know if the 73 chevy pickup has the same head light bucket as the 72 c/10? the reason i am asking is i cant find knew buckets for my 72. i ordered new ones from lmc, but they were for any earlier model. i called everyone i could think of and was told by all that the 72 bucket has not been reproduced yet. i called the local chevy dealer and was told they can only go back to 73. so if the 72 and the 73 are the same i can order them from the chevy dealer.

Re: Head Light Mount Buckets
Never heard of replacing just them since they are welded to the core support.
You might just want to consider swapping out the support, I know it would be more difficult, but that way you are assured the buckets line up with the grill.

you have confused the headlight mounting bucket with the bucket mount. my core is perfect. the bucket mount is held to the core by adjusting screws and a retaining spring

Re: Head Light Mount Buckets
i have a perfect radiator core support, the buckets that are attached to the core are perfect as well. i need the head light mounting buckets that the actual head light sits in. the head light mounting bucket is attached to the core head light bucket by 2 adjusting screws and one retaining spring. it is totally separate from the rad. core.
