a couple of Blazers on Seattle CL

This one looks really nice in the photo for the $7K asking price.

This one has huge 47" tires!!! The price seems a little steep for something in primer. (Looks like there might be another one in the background of one of the photos.)

Here's another one if someone is looking for a conversion project - no pictures though.

Looks like it still has stock steering components in this pic, hard to say.

He list the front differential as a Dana 44, I would think that any serious effort would have a 60 in the front for the 47 inch tires. Also, he list it as having only a 350 for the engine. Again, I would think that something like a 383 would be in order especially considering his 15k asking price.

I wouldn't buy that thing. Personally, I wouldn't trust the build. It looks half-a$$ed to me and I don't see a need for that much lift or tires that size. Do ya all see the massive mud flaps? I'm guessing he gets pulled over a lot.

Re: a couple of Blazers on Seattle CL

I have seen the big one driving around. It is more for looks than function. The spring packs are used for the lift and they are the tallest ones I have ever seen. It would take a mack truck falling on them to get them to flex.

Re: a couple of Blazers on Seattle CL

I remember seeing one down in the Southcenter area about 10 years ago that had stacks of springs to give it lift. It looked completely un-safe. This might be the rig because it was yellow (like the wheels).

That has to be one of the roughest rides around. The only give would be in the tire sidewalls.
