Yuma, AZ Junkyards? LAX Members?
Flying out tomorrow, spending the night in Los Angeles, and then driving down to Yuma, AZ on Friday. Anyone know of any decent junkyards down that way?
And yes, I will be looking for some of that clean AZ tin while I am down there... doubt I will get lucky, but wouldn't it be nice if I could find something to drive back? Also, looks like my flight back home on Monday is oversold..that means I have like 11 hours to twidle my thumbs at the LAX Airportand take the "redeye" to CLT at 11pm... Anybody want to hit the Peterson Auto Museum? Later, Wild

I live in central Az. and even though I have not been over to yuma , I did have two different guys from there tell me they look east of yuma even in to New mexico for the " best " stuff at the " best " prices . They gave me the impression its not really great pickins there (Yuma ) but they do find a lot of choice goodies across the Az. state line on the western New Mexico border area . .I have not researched this my self (yet ) but I feel they are probably right . There is a " LOT " of stuff here in central Az. some cheap and some not so cheap but any ways , I think I could find any thing I would want to buy with out to much trouble right around here using either luck or money . Just my opinion and Good luck .

Man, I just got back. They may be slim but I did find several trucks... found a guy that had a couple of burbs in his backyard but didn't have time to stop... 1 looked like a possible donor. Did find 3 or 4 short wides outside of town..

You remember where you saw the burbs at? I'd like to take a look. Thanks.

clean71,
You would ask me that... crud...I could drive you right to them but you would have thought I would have noticed a street name or address, wouldn't you? Well all I can say is drive west on the frontage road by Microtel..I have no idea how many miles, keep looking to the left, you will see a baby blue 67 c-10 pickup sitting by a mobile home- The burbs are about a block or 2 east of the blue c-10 pickup. I'd have an interest in the brown parts burb and a couple of the wagons he has. Let me know. PM me, maybe I could talk you in.. Bowed, I want to be your best friend... Red72, Is your blazer lifted with flames on it? I saw a sweet one down there.. Later, Wild
