Re: need some photoshop guys help!
To make it look right, I think you would have to loose some behind the rear wheels.

Re: need some photoshop guys help!
a couple of quickies.too bad about the hood open.
you can see at the rear how much the front and back 1/4ers were shortened. I went with the later style blazer top. |

Not 60-63 but... I posted this in another thread but I don't think anyone noticed that I shortened it...

Re: need some photoshop guys help!
Not a problem.
I took the liberty of cleaning the picture up some. Hope nobody minds.

Re: need some photoshop guys help!
see thats what I'm think'n i would eliminate that rear pillar in the back window, and somehow make the top come off completely like an older k5, (73-75) Frizzle fry i know you did a taho out of a sub what do you think about doing a blazer out of a 60-66 what problems did you encounter with your shortening of the burb!

Re: need some photoshop guys help!
someone made a convertible out of their truck, i'm sure you could make a k5 out of it.

Re: need some photoshop guys help!
It would be much easier than what I did because you only have two front doors and no 3rd door or rear rocker to worry about. I've been photochopping that idea since 1999 and to be honest I'm really surprised it hasn't been done yet. The removable hardtop would be a challange getting it to seal properly when installed, but it would be worth it!

Re: need some photoshop guys help!
thats what I'm thinking if you could cut the roof off, then box it in at the bottom, you could just use the same system the k5's use! but i would really like to see the whole thing! done on a 4x4 i'm sure it would be easier just to use a k5 frame too huh!?

Re: need some photoshop guys help!
I personally think this would work better on a 64-66 with the layed back A-Pillars vs the 60-63 with the "wrap-around" windshield. But either way it would be cool.

Re: need some photoshop guys help!
I was wanting to do this back around 1990 or so....to a '63 as well. Never did do anything with it. Glad to see someone else with the same idea.....hope you get to accomplish it.
