Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
I don't want to start anything,... but hot trux asked Ken and got 5.25" BS on the front and 6" BS on the rear. I would measure for yourself anyway. The 6" BS didn't work out for hot trux. He needed a 5" BS. Too much money (@ $500+ per wheel) to guess. Just my 2 cents.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
Kens 77 has....
20x8's w/5.25BS & 245-40/20's (F). 20x9.5's w/4.?BS & 295-40/20's (R). I believe the rears were 4.5" BS but would have to dig it up to be sure. I do know they are not 6.00BS for sure.

I remember Ken saying his rear BS was either 4.5" or 5". A 5" rear BS should work.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
Scoti,... hot trux even called Roger(?) at Stoked Out Specialties to confirm this. He already has purchased the 1" spacers. I just had to comment,... because I've seen Ken's wheel specs posted so many times,... and all different. I would still measure for myself.

The rears also work w/varying back space but there's no way 6.00" BS is going to fit w/o rubbing the inner tub wall. My TT2's are 20x10's w/6.00 BS & I had to utilize 1" spacers to set the wheel/tire in the center of the tub. Since the 9.5 is .500 narrower than my 10, I subtracted that from the BS total & come up w/4.5" as optimum. If I were ordering 20" wheels for my 73-87 using an OE based crossmember & front suspension, I would choose 20x8's w/5.00 to offer optimum 'tuck' while keeping it as far away from the lower a-arm lip (20x8.5's would get 5.25 BS). For the rears..... if 20x9.5" = 4.5" BS; if 20x10 = 5.00" BS, or 20x10 @ 5.5" BS as second choice.

That link is not my thread so I can't change the information in that particular post even though it is incorrect. Because of that, I've posted what I know worked for me. I measured my own vehicle, I ordered the wheels, & I installed the wheels w/o issue. I always, always, always tell guys to measure their own stuff & not go by what they read on the internet. That's how I know my stuff is always right.... I measure for myself.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
Ummm, why doesn't someone just ask KEN and avoid all the confusion?
Or am I overthinking things?

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
I guess I started all this in post #4. Hot trux DID ask Ken and Roger at Stoked Out. I am not trying to show ANY blame. I just want people to measure their wheels for themselves. The 67-72 trucks are even worse,... because of the two different rearend widths. My buddy hot trux was trying to buy some wheels (when a good deal presented itself),...but his truck was down to a bare frame. This ended up biting him with the wrong rear BS. So,... my suggestion,... still,... is to measure your wheels yourself. Sorry for all of this.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
Wow, I leave town for a few days and come back to find this.
The specs that I posted regarding the backspace on my wheels came directly from the file I have on my truck. I have a hard time remembering backspaces, so I created a file with all the details on my 77. The information I have came directly from Roger at Stoked Out since he ordered my wheels. If the information is incorrect, this is the first I have heard about it. I have given this information to several people and no one has ever told me it was wrong or I would have corrected it. Normally I recommend to anyone that ask me about backspace they be sure and verify this with whoever they order wheels from to prevent any issues. Maybe from now on I just won't offer any information and let everyone figure it out on their own.

Keith will tell you I'm the numbers guy when it comes to this stuff & based on my BS for the 74 I know the 9.5's w/6.00 does not seem correct. If it does have 6.00 BS the wheels would be tucked farther up in the well; instead both our trucks look very similar from the side view.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
wait, so whats the problem with a 6" back spacing on a 10" wide rim in the rear? if your gonna cut out the factor wheel well i didn't think there would be a problem. i thought for sure you wouldn't have any contact with outside bed panel?

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
A 10" rim will fit in most factory 73-87 wheelwells with a 5" BS. (without cutting) The 6" BS makes it contact the inner edge of the factory rear wheel tub.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
but if your cutting out the wheel wells to bag it anyways would it matter? just cut another inch out of the bed floor right? just trying to think this out loud with you guys.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
I think it's the "LOOK" of the wheels being "sucked" in too far. Plus this truck has the stock wheel tubs.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
The original post never mentioned anything about cutting sheet-metal to fit the wheels/tires. Since the request was specific to Kens 77, one could assume that they wanted to know the information for an extreme static drop or 'mild' bag drop that did not require any sheet-metal mods so the truck can be returned to 'stock'.

Re: what size are n2trux wheels?
ahh sorry i caused some confusion. i was blending others thoughts with my thoughts and it came out all weird.
say a person who was removing there rear fender wells, was to buy a 10" wide rim with 6" of back spacing. would there be any problems with rubbing of the inside of the bed floor or the outer bed side? im unsure if that will cause a "sucked in" look like lolife mentioned. i'm still very new at this.
