Re: long long bed, extra longhorn

thats deffinately a different aproach
that would be the kind of thing someone would do if they wanted to convert a lwb into a swb then turn another lwb into a super longhorn haha
its a good way to use up scraps but that thing would be a BOAT!

Well, on the flipside, he could maybe fit a hot tub in the back and still have room to haul stuff.

I think it would be a bit hard to paralell park but to really be a "Boat" it needs a cab over camper.

Re: long long bed, extra longhorn

I`ve never seen it done in this body style. But,a guy took a`70s Chevy truck, built a 12' bed with tandem rear wheels. It was that slightly darker than medium olive color with chrome spokes on it and looked great...very well done job.Someone do a tandem, that`s what it needs.
I`m not sure why that guy did that truck.I wondered if he was into drywall or something. It sat at a country store and it was the owner`s son`s truck.I was installing aluminum siding that comes in 12' boxes, that`s why I thought about doing it.I ended up building a C/30 with an 11' utility bed.

Re: long long bed, extra longhorn

How about...... an extra extra extra long cab? I even used a rear glass for new door glass, just for the ease of finding parts.
