Re: Let`s See Little GM Haulers

I got a new one now. Its a 93 4x4 with full power and the CPI 4.3. I got it from the original owners who were and older couple and I got all the invoices from when it went to the shop and even the original window sticker from the local dealer in arizona. The biggest plans are to lift this one, ditch the tire carrier and trim, and tint the windows.

Eventually I'll stop spending money on this one and get started on my 68.

Still needs paint before that happens at the very least.

Outstanding truck there ZZ. Stance, wheel size and color are great. Bags or spring drop?

Re: Let`s See Little GM Haulers

Coilovers in the front, just regular drop springs and blocks in the rear for now.

Hotchkis uppers, ART lowers, QA1 coilovers, ATS tall spindles, hotchkis sway bars, and 14" C6Z06 brakes.

Re: Let`s See Little GM Haulers

Heres an older picture of my 1994 Jimmy. Had it since 2000 when it only had 55,000, it currently has 342xxx miles. The only things I've done to it, aftermarket wise, is put a stock replacement K&N filter in it, set of Accel wires, Delco RapidFire plugs, Dynomax cat back exhaust and switched all oils to Mobil 1.

Re: Let`s See Little GM Haulers

Here's one I just bought Saturday. 91 2.8 5 spd. new wheels and tires. I didn't even get home with it before the wife put it to use. See the flowers and mulch in the bed. My plans are to drive the snot out of it. if everything goes right I'll get it painted later.

Re: Let`s See Little GM Haulers

Here's mine, i just posted its description in GD but i will post any updates here.

Just got it -- cheap transpo. Need to recharge the AC and do a little interior work and i am good to go. 4.3 liter is fun and runs good. Will post a better pic when i get the interior straightened up and get 4 matching tires on it (they're 14's !! i love it -- i hadn't seen a 14" tire in years)

Re: Let`s See Little GM Haulers

Here is my 2002 S-10 extended cab. It has a 4.3 and a 5speed with only 19,300 miles. I just couldn't see a 4 cylinder in my future. I got it last thursday and am impressed with it.
I test drove Tacoma's and Frontier's and liked the S-10 better. It just seemed that the foriegn trucks lacked soul. They didn't ride as well either. This ones got the others beat for power. I had to pay a little extra for it, but I think the low miles were worth it. I also drove some other S-10s with high miles (100K+) for cheaper but, I didn't want something else to work on. Maybe a few upgrades here and there.
I want to paint my 68 and do some things to it, but didn't want to be limited to the weekend to get it back together so I could drive it to work.

I'll attach more pics later

Re: Let`s See Little GM Haulers

Nah, It's just going to be my daily hauler. I've already got a tool box on the back of it. I bought it for nice reliable work truck so I can finish my 68 and some other things. My job isn't very hard on my truck, so it won't get all beat up. I might get an exhaust for it, though

Re: Let`s See Little GM Haulers

This is my wife's '92 after I got done with the body work and prep and had it painted. There was a bunch of rust around the windshield opening and everytime I tried to repair it, it kept getting bigger. I ended up re-skinning the A-pillars. The structural steel underneath was perfect so I could replace the flimsy (and rust-prone) skins. A few dents and dings here and there and removing the remaining chrome adding a '93 Tupperware grille and painted bumpers and this is what I was left with:

My truck is a '93 S10 4x4, 4.3L "Z", M/T (exact same drivetrain as the Blazer). It was dark green but most of the paint has been burned off by the sun and I don't have a pic of it, so the description is all I have on it.
