Question '75stepside'

where did you get your brakets and pullies and how much were they. do you have ones for the powersteering pump too?

the pulleys and the brackets are all march perf. i got the sets all from summitracing... the pulleys were $168 (item# MCH-6070) the bracket was $84 (item# MCH-20120) and believe this or not, the SINGLE pulley for the pwr steering was $45 alone! i did not get the brackets for the pwr steering YET!!! ...

so the crank, water pump, power steering and alt pump pulleys were 168 total? and then the alt bracket (bottum part and rod) were $84?

that seems alright considering how bad a$$ they look. i just read your web site to man. you have done a hella lotta work on that thing, its lookin sweet.

low84 thanks for the kind words... yeah, the $168 gets you the crank, alt, and waterpump pulleys... just make sure when you order that you get the set that goes with the short or long h20 pump (whichever you have) and one set has a three groove pulley for A/C and one for non-A/C. yeah, the alt bracket comes as a set as well; bracket, rod and hardware...

I sure wish I would have had the money to get the chrome water pump on mine before it went in. That and the pullies! Very nice

...please dont mistake my water pump for chrome ... that's a polished alum water pump i didn't want to have to replace a chrome water pump after a few years...

Did you polish it or purchase it/? I had one but they sent me a short and I needed a long pump Or I would have had it .Damn those are high$$$$ $140 and that was manager wholesale cost!! haah

It sure in nice. What I would give to be able to use these, but they don't make anything for the A.I.R. pump setup.

yeah, i bought the pump polished... it was an incredible $180... which sucks... but the look is awesome....

man that alt set up looks cooler and cooler every time i see it. i gotta get that. so you tighten the belt by threadin the rod out some, i guess?
