Re: ATTENTION Cali Folks...It BBQ TIME !!!!
I prefer a day without Luca only so I can go off and get lost on the trails. It would be good to take him though.

Re: ATTENTION Cali Folks...It BBQ TIME !!!!
I will hang out. I would just go off on the bike for a bit. Not al all dayer. I would much rather come down in my truck but there is no way I will be done with that then.

Re: ATTENTION Cali Folks...It BBQ TIME !!!!
The Vacaville thing is probably more doable due to the closer proximity and the cost of fuel.
Do you have more info on this deal? |

Re: ATTENTION Cali Folks...It BBQ TIME !!!!
The Vacaville gathering was cool last year...however, I still would like to set up a BBQ around the south bay as well.

I moved my event back a week because of memorial day weekend. It is now on June 1st (just three days before my birthday) Are there any other June babies out there? Maybe we could make this one big birthday party - what a way to spend your birthday - classic trucks, good friends, meeting new people, lots of food & fun at a beautiful park with a lake! oh, and just so you guys know, Rust NEVER Sleeps is my event, completely independent of any sponsor or web sites - so all are welcome! Only this year, no burn-outs. That didn't go so well last year.

Re: ATTENTION Cali Folks...It BBQ TIME !!!!
Too much liability. I almost had to buy a guy a new windshield. Luckily cooler heads prevailed and it got handled.

Re: ATTENTION Cali Folks...It BBQ TIME !!!!
Ya, that was close. However, his burnout wasn't the cause...it was when he took off spining his tires on the payment near the trucks that caused a problem.
But I hear ya though.... Will the entry fee be the same ??

Sure, 15 bucks per entry. Can't beat that with a stick! which reminds me.... I'd better go order those trophies!

Re: ATTENTION Cali Folks...It BBQ TIME !!!!
We need one south of the Rust Never Sleeps shindig. I live in Bakersfield and the setup of my truck wouldn't allow that kinda mileage with current gas prices. I say one in the bay area and one in more So Cal area (ie north of LA preferably)
